Throughout this past year, leading industry analyst firms have included Perficient in reports spanning a variety of topics and technologies. We believe these reports showcase how Perficient comes to the table with innovative and strategic thinking around the most timely topics.
Following are some of the most recent reports where Perficient healthcare has been recognized:
Healthcare organizations’ ability to accelerate transformation is crucial so your organization can adapt and flourish in an increasingly competitive and ever-changing landscape.
Computer vision, how computers gain high-level understanding from digital images or videos, has been one of the driving factors that’s contributed to the success of AI in recent years. From augmented reality games to self-driving cars to Apple’s Facial Unlock feature, it has deeply impacted our lives. And beyond these more consumer-related use cases, there are real-world applications across industry verticals like healthcare, financial services, retail, and more.
According to Forrester’s report, “Perficient is proficient at AI strategy development and document automation.” While the report frames us as a “Contender” having “…so far undertaken relatively few CV projects,” it also states that we “would be a good fit as part of a broader engagement or ongoing partnership” and that “…it makes sense to tap Perficient’s CV capabilities either within or as an extension to an existing engagement.”

Digital is at the heart of major healthcare initiatives as consumer experiences outside of your industry shape expectations of what it should be. Telemedicine, virtual visits, and patient- or member-specific portals are quickly becoming the norm. Digital transformation also pushes the boundaries of traditional healthcare models. You ultimately want to provide more affordable care and better access through personalized, seamless experiences. Achieving this will improve quality of care and health outcomes for your patients and members.
Forrester listed Perficient as a global systems integrator (GSI). According to the report, GSIs align these services with cloud and digital go-to-market capabilities. They’re positioned to offer these services because of software factories and growing cloud-native development capabilities. Forrester based its analysis of service providers on two factors: market presence and services type and capability. They then segmented vendors into three categories based on application modernization and migration services revenue: large, midsize, and small; and five categories based on services type and capabilities.
To remain competitive and compliant, healthcare organizations are ramping up real-time data exchanges across a growing web of communication points, leveraging data models for batch, EDI, and HL7® sharing, integrating with external AI models, and managing communications and care delivery across mobile and medical device applications. Through it all, patients and members expect to engage across multiple channels.
As a provider listed in the global systems integrator capability category within the report, we are excited to be able to help clients through governance for Azure implementations, aiding with accelerating strategy to achieve results quickly, and bringing in skills that organizations otherwise may not possess. The report notes that, “Global systems integrators (GSIs) have broad, deep capabilities,” can generally work in both cloud and traditional infrastructures, and have capabilities in the management of both infrastructure and applications. The report lists global systems integrators with a greater number of high-level capabilities than any other category and includes capabilities such as Azure build services, solution services, and modernization services.
Forrester listed Perficient as a midsize provider ($25M to $1B in annual revenue) with a focus on systems integration. According to the report, “Systems integrators offer the core foundation to help clients move from machine learning models to product AI systems and experiences. They bring together their data and analytic resources to deliver business impact, typically for core business capabilities and customer engagement. Expertise in technology, architecture, and stitching together tiers of technology and services helps clients overcome platform complexity and deployment challenges.”
